Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 945

[945] For whom the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) will not arise, for him the life faculty (jīvitindriya) will not arise? Those who, having been reborn in the fine-material (rūpāvacara) or the immaterial (arūpāvacara) sphere, will attain final Nibbāna, and those women who, in that very same state (bhāva), will manifest some number of existences (bhava) and then attain final Nibbāna — for them the masculinity faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that the life faculty will not arise for them. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), both the masculinity faculty will not arise and the life faculty will not arise. Or rather, for whom the life faculty will not arise, for him the masculinity faculty will not arise? — Yes (āmantā).
