Cakkhundarīya

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Yamaka (2) · Vol. 39 · Section 929

[929] "For whom the eye faculty (cakkhundriya) will not arise, will the masculinity faculty (purisindriya) not arise for him?" "Yes." "Or rather, for whom the masculinity faculty will not arise, will the eye faculty not arise for him?" "Those who, having been reborn in the form sphere (rūpāvacara), will attain final Nibbāna (parinibbāna), and those women who, in that very state, having manifested some number of existences, will attain final Nibbāna — for them the masculinity faculty will not arise, but it is not the case that for them the eye faculty will not arise. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), and for those who, having been reborn in the formless (arūpa), will attain final Nibbāna — for them both the masculinity faculty will not arise and the eye faculty will not arise."
