[950] For whomever the life faculty (jīvitindriya) will not arise, will the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) not arise for him?

Or rather, for whomever the equanimity faculty will not arise, will the life faculty not arise for him?
For those in immediate succession to whose mind (citta) the final mind (pacchima-citta) associated with joy (somanassa) will arise, the equanimity faculty will not arise for them, but it is not the case that the life faculty will not arise for them; for those endowed with the final mind, both the equanimity faculty will not arise for them and the life faculty will not arise.
