[984] For whomever, wherever, the eye-faculty (cakkhundriya) will not arise, will the life-faculty (jīvitindriya) not arise for that one there?
For non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) and formless beings, the eye-faculty will not arise for them there, but it is not the case that the life-faculty will not arise for them there. For those in their final existence (pacchimabhavika), both the eye-faculty will not arise and the life-faculty will not arise for them there.
Or rather, for whomever, wherever, the life-faculty will not arise, will the eye-faculty not arise for that one there?
