[100] Dependent on an indeterminate phenomenon (abyākata dhamma), an indeterminate phenomenon arises, not by absorption condition (na jhāna-paccayā):
Dependent on one aggregate (khandha) accompanied by the fivefold consciousness (pañcaviññāṇa), three aggregates [arise]; dependent on three aggregates, one aggregate [arises]; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates [arise]; external [materiality], [materiality] originating from nutriment (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … [materiality] originating from temperature (utusamuṭṭhāna) …
For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), dependent on one primary element (mahābhūta), three primary elements [arise] … dependent on the primary elements, kamma-born materiality (kaṭattārūpa) that is derivative materiality (upādārūpa) [arises].
