[1364] A phenomenon having result as its nature (vipākadhammadhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon having result as its nature by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya):
Preceding aggregates (khandhā) having result as their nature are a condition for succeeding aggregates having result as their nature by immediacy condition. Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū), conformity for cleansing (vodāna), change-of-lineage for the path (magga), cleansing for the path, by immediacy condition.
A phenomenon having result as its nature is a condition for a resultant phenomenon (vipāka) by immediacy condition:
Aggregates having result as their nature are a condition for emergence (vuṭṭhāna); the path for fruition (phala); the conformity of trainees (sekkha) for the attainment of fruition (phalasamāpatti); for one emerging from cessation (nirodha), the wholesome state of the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception (nevasaññānāsaññāyatana-kusala) is a condition for the attainment of fruition by immediacy condition.
