[505] A wholesome phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition for a wholesome phenomenon by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). Each set of preceding wholesome aggregates (khandhā) is a condition for each set of subsequent wholesome aggregates by immediacy condition. Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū); conformity, for cleansing (vodāna); change-of-lineage, for the path (magga); cleansing is a condition for the path by immediacy condition.
