[1383] A phenomenon whose nature is to produce results (vipākadhammadhamma) is a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon whose nature is to produce results. The successively preceding aggregates (khandhā) that are phenomena whose nature is to produce results are a condition for the successively subsequent aggregates that are phenomena whose nature is to produce results; conformity (anuloma) for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū); conformity for cleansing (vodāna); change-of-lineage for the path (magga); cleansing is a condition for the path by repetition condition.
