[1545] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to but is subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) is a condition, by way of repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is not clung to but is subject to clinging.
Preceding aggregates (khandhā) that are not clung to but are subject to clinging are a condition, by way of repetition condition, for subsequent aggregates that are not clung to but are subject to clinging. Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū), and conformity is a condition for cleansing (vodāna), by way of repetition condition.
