[1932] A past phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition for a present phenomenon by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya):
The successively preceding past aggregates (khandhā) are a condition for the successively subsequent present aggregates by repetition condition.
Conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhu); conformity for cleansing (vodāna); change-of-lineage for the path (magga); cleansing for the path — by repetition condition.
