[1711] A phenomenon that is undefiled but subject to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika dhamma) is a condition, by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is undefiled but subject to defilement: the preceding, preceding … conformity (anuloma) is a condition for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū), conformity is a condition for cleansing (vodāna), by repetition condition.
