[1490] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is neither clung to nor subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition, by way of predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is neither clung to nor subject to clinging — object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati), conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Nibbāna is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for the path (magga) and for fruition (phala).
Conascence-predominance: a predominant [phenomenon] that is neither clung to nor subject to clinging is a condition, by way of predominance condition, for the associated aggregates (khandhā).
