[1491] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is not clung to and not favorable to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition, by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is not clung to but favorable to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati) and conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Noble ones (ariyā), having emerged from the path (magga), review the path with esteem; they review the fruition (phala) with esteem; they review Nibbāna with esteem. Nibbāna is a condition, by predominance condition, for change-of-lineage (gotrabhū) and for purification (vodāna).
Conascence-predominance: predominance that is not clung to and not favorable to clinging is a condition, by predominance condition, for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
