[1686] A phenomenon that is undefiled and not connected with defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-asaṅkilesika dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon that is undefiled and not connected with defilement by predominance condition (adhipati-paccaya): object-predominance (ārammaṇādhipati) and conascence-predominance (sahajātādhipati).
Object-predominance: Nibbāna is a condition for the path (magga) and for fruition (phala) by predominance condition.
Conascence-predominance: a predominance that is undefiled and not connected with defilement is a condition for the associated aggregates (khandhā) by predominance condition.
