[1514] A clung-to and subject-to-clinging (upādinnupādāniya) phenomenon (dhamma) is a condition, by way of dependence condition (nissaya-paccaya), for a not-clung-to and not-subject-to-clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) phenomenon. The basis (vatthu) is a condition, by way of dependence condition, for the not-clung-to and not-subject-to-clinging aggregates.
