Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (1) · Vol. 40 · Section 1535

[1535] A clung-to-and-subject-to-clinging (upādinnupādāniya) phenomenon (dhamma) and a not-clung-to-but-subject-to-clinging (anupādinnupādāniya) phenomenon are a condition for a not-clung-to-but-subject-to-clinging phenomenon by prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya): object-prenascence (ārammaṇapurejāta), base-prenascence (vatthupurejāta). The not-clung-to-but-subject-to-clinging form base (rūpāyatana) and the base (vatthu) are a condition for the not-clung-to-but-subject-to-clinging aggregates (khandhā) by prenascence condition. Abridged. The not-clung-to-but-subject-to-clinging tangible-object base (phoṭṭhabbāyatana) and the base are a condition for the not-clung-to-but-subject-to-clinging aggregates by prenascence condition.
