[1517] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is clung-to and favorable to clinging (upādinnupādāniya) and a phenomenon that is not-clung-to and not favorable to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) are a condition for a phenomenon that is not-clung-to and not favorable to clinging by dependence condition (nissaya-paccaya).
One aggregate that is not-clung-to and not favorable to clinging and the base (vatthu) are a condition for three aggregates by dependence condition; two aggregates and the base are a condition for two aggregates by dependence condition.
