[1543] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is neither clung-to nor subject to clinging (anupādinna-anupādāniya) is a condition, by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is not clung-to but subject to clinging (anupādinnupādāniya). Postnascent (pacchājātā): the aggregates (khandhā) that are neither clung-to nor subject to clinging are a condition, by postnascence condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body that is not clung-to but subject to clinging.
