[1671] A phenomenon (dhamma) that is undefiled but liable to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika) is a condition, by root condition (hetu-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is undefiled but liable to defilement.
Roots that are undefiled but liable to defilement are a condition, by root condition, for the associated aggregates (khandhā) and for the forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), roots that are undefiled but liable to defilement are a condition, by root condition, for the associated aggregates and for the forms produced by kamma (kaṭattā-rūpa).
