[1716] A phenomenon that is undefiled but liable to defilement (asaṅkiliṭṭha-saṅkilesika dhamma) is a condition, by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya), for a phenomenon that is undefiled but liable to defilement — conascent (sahajāta) and asynchronous (nānākhaṇika).
Conascent: volition (cetanā) that is undefiled but liable to defilement is a condition, by kamma condition, for the associated (sampayuttaka) aggregates (khandha) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
Asynchronous: volition that is undefiled but liable to defilement is a condition, by kamma condition, for the resultant (vipāka) aggregates and for forms produced by kamma performed (kaṭattā-rūpa).
