[285] Dependent on a wholesome phenomenon (kusala dhamma), a wholesome phenomenon arises by not-predominance condition (na-adhipati-paccaya): dependent on one wholesome aggregate (khandha) — three [sections].

Dependent on an indeterminate phenomenon (abyākata dhamma), at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi) … The indeterminate [section] should be made complete: external (bāhira) … nutriment-originated (āhārasamuṭṭhāna) … temperature-originated (utusamuṭṭhāna) … For the non-percipient beings (asaññasattā), dependent on one great element (mahābhūta) … Dependent on the eye base (cakkhāyatana), eye-consciousness (cakkhuviññāṇa) [arises] … dependent on the body base (kāyāyatana), body-consciousness (kāyaviññāṇa) [arises]; dependent on the base (vatthu), resultant-indeterminate and functional-indeterminate aggregates [arise].
