[1053] Dependent on a phenomenon leading to accumulation (ācayagāmī dhamma), a phenomenon leading to accumulation arises, not by root condition (na-hetu-paccaya): dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā), accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca), there arises delusion (moha) accompanied by doubt, accompanied by restlessness.
Dependent on a phenomenon neither leading to accumulation nor to dispersal (nevācayagāmi-nāpacayagāmī dhamma), a phenomenon neither leading to accumulation nor to dispersal … not by root condition: dependent on one rootless (ahetuka) aggregate neither leading to accumulation nor to dispersal, three aggregates and mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) arise; [dependent on] two aggregates … At the moment of rootless rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi). (Abbreviated.)
