[120] A phenomenon accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra dhamma) is a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra dhamma) by root condition (hetu-paccaya). Roots (hetū) accompanied by thought-conception (vitakka) and discursive thought (vicāra) are a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by root condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi-kkhaṇa), roots accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought are a condition for kamma-born forms (kaṭattā-rūpa) by root condition.
