[1689] A phenomenon (dhamma) fixed in wrongness (micchattaniyata) is a condition, by way of root condition (hetu-paccaya), for a phenomenon fixed in wrongness and for an unfixed (aniyata) phenomenon: the roots (hetū) that are fixed in wrongness are a condition, by way of root condition, for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka-khandhā) and for the mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
