Atītāraṁmaṇattika

Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 1978

[1978] A phenomenon (dhamma) with a future object is a condition for a phenomenon with a present object by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya). With the knowledge of others' minds (cetopariyañāṇa) one knows the mind (citta) of one who is endowed with a present mind that has a future object. Present aggregates (khandhā) that have a future object are a condition for the knowledge of others' minds and for adverting (āvajjana) by object condition.
