[1571] A phenomenon (dhamma) with a limited object (parittārammaṇa) is a condition, by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon with an exalted object (mahaggatārammaṇa).
One reviews the divine eye (dibbacakkhu); one reviews the divine ear element (dibbasotadhātu); one reviews the knowledge of supernormal power (iddhividha-ñāṇa) that has a limited object; the knowledge penetrating the minds of others (cetopariya-ñāṇa) …; the knowledge of reminiscence of past lives (pubbenivāsānussati-ñāṇa) …; the knowledge of how beings fare according to their kamma (yathākammūpaga-ñāṇa) …; one reviews the knowledge of the future (anāgataṃsa-ñāṇa).
One sees with insight the exalted (mahaggata) aggregates (khandhā) that have a limited object as impermanent …; one relishes and delights in them. With that as object, lust (rāga) with an exalted object …; grief (domanassa) arises.
By the knowledge penetrating the minds of others, one knows the mind (citta) of one endowed with an exalted mind that has a limited object.
The exalted aggregates that have a limited object are a condition, by object condition, for the knowledge penetrating the minds of others, for the knowledge of reminiscence of past lives, for the knowledge of the future, and for adverting (āvajjanā).
