[1994] A phenomenon (dhamma) with a present object (paccuppannārammaṇa) is a condition, by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya), for a phenomenon with a present object. Preceding aggregates (khandhā) with a present object are a condition, by immediacy condition, for subsequent aggregates with a present object. Rebirth-linking mind (paṭisandhicitta) with a present object is a condition for life-continuum (bhavaṅga) with a present object; life-continuum with a present object is a condition, by immediacy condition, for life-continuum with a present object.
