[1993] A phenomenon (dhamma) with a future object is a condition for a phenomenon with a past object by immediacy condition (anantara-paccaya). The knowledge (ñāṇa) of supernormal powers (iddhividhañāṇa) with a future object [is a condition] for emergence (vuṭṭhāna) with a past object; the knowledge penetrating the minds of others (cetopariyañāṇa) [is a condition] for emergence with a past object; the knowledge of the future (anāgataṃsañāṇa) [is a condition] for emergence with a past object; aggregates (khandhā) with a future object are a condition for emergence with a past object by immediacy condition.
