[220] Phenomena (dhammā) that are without thought-conception (vitakka), with discursive thought (vicāra) only, and those that are without thought-conception and without discursive thought, are a condition, by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya), for a phenomenon with thought-conception and discursive thought. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), thought-conception and the base (vatthu) are a condition, by way of connascence condition, for the aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought.
