[270] A phenomenon without thought-conception but with discursive thought only (avitakka-vicāramatta dhamma) and a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra dhamma) are a condition, by dependence condition (nissaya-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought-conception but with discursive thought only and for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought.
One aggregate (khandha) without thought-conception but with discursive thought only, together with discursive thought (vicāra), is a condition, by dependence condition, for three aggregates and for forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); two aggregates, together with discursive thought, are a condition, by dependence condition, for two aggregates and for forms originated by mind.
