Abhidhammapiṭaka · Paṭṭhāna (2) · Vol. 41 · Section 357

[357] A phenomenon (dhamma) without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra) is a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought by nutriment condition (āhāra-paccaya). Nutriments (āhāra) without thought-conception and without discursive thought are a condition for the associated aggregates (sampayuttaka-khandha) and for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by nutriment condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), edible nutriment (kabaḷiṅkārāhāra) is a condition for this body by nutriment condition.
