[403] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought and examination (savitakka-savicāra) is a condition, by presence condition (atthi-paccaya), for a phenomenon without thought and without examination (avitakka-avicāra): connascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
Connascent: the aggregates (khandhā) with thought and examination are a condition, by presence condition, for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi-kkhaṇa), the aggregates with thought and examination are a condition, by presence condition, for kamma-born forms (kaṭattārūpa).
Postnascent: the aggregates with thought and examination are a condition, by presence condition, for this prenascent (purejāta) body.
In the section rooted in [the phenomenon] with thought and examination (savitakka-savicāra-mūlaka), the remaining questions are similar to those under the connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya).
