[414] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāra) are a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought by presence condition (atthi-paccaya): conascent, postnascent, nutriment, faculty.
Conascent: the aggregates (khandha) with thought-conception and discursive thought and the primary elements (mahābhūta) are a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by presence condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), the aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought and the primary elements are a condition for kamma-born forms (kaṭattārūpa) by presence condition.
Postnascent: the aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought and edible nutriment (kabaḷīkāra āhāra) are a condition for this prenascent (purejāta) body by presence condition.
Postnascent: the aggregates with thought-conception and discursive thought and the material life-faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) are a condition for kamma-born forms by presence condition.
