[421] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought (vitakka) and examination (vicāra), and a phenomenon without thought and with examination only, are a condition for a phenomenon without thought and without examination by presence condition (atthi-paccaya): conascent (sahajāta), postnascent (pacchājāta).
Conascent: the aggregates with thought and examination, and thought, are a condition for forms originated by mind (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) by presence condition. At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi), the aggregates with thought and examination, and thought, are a condition for forms produced by kamma (kaṭattārūpa) by presence condition.
Postnascent: the aggregates with thought and examination, and thought, are a condition for this prenascent (purejāta) body by presence condition.
