[444] A phenomenon without thought-conception and without discursive thought (avitakka-avicāro dhammo) is a condition for a phenomenon with thought-conception and with discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and for a phenomenon without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); is a condition by way of connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); is a condition by way of decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya); is a condition by way of prenascence condition (purejāta-paccaya).
