[455] A phenomenon (dhamma) with thought-conception (vitakka) and discursive thought (vicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought are a condition for a phenomenon without thought-conception and with mere discursive thought by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); they are a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
