[454] A phenomenon (dhamma) accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought (savitakka-savicāra) and a phenomenon without thought-conception, with mere discursive thought (avitakka-vicāramatta), are a condition for a phenomenon accompanied by thought-conception and discursive thought by object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya); a condition by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya); a condition by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya).
