[579] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba), there arises a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, by root condition (hetu-paccaya).
Dependent on one aggregate (khandha) to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, three aggregates and mind-originated materiality (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa) [arise]; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates and mind-originated materiality.
At the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhikkhaṇa), dependent on one aggregate to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, three aggregates and kamma-produced materiality (kaṭattā-rūpa) [arise]; dependent on two aggregates, two aggregates and kamma-produced materiality; dependent on the aggregates, the base (vatthu); dependent on the base, the aggregates; dependent on one primary element (mahābhūta), three primary elements; dependent on two primary elements, two primary elements; dependent on the primary elements, mind-originated materiality and kamma-produced materiality, [that is,] derivative materiality (upādā-rūpa).
