[580] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by seeing (dassana) and a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (bhāvanā), there arises a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, by root condition (hetu-paccaya): mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa) arises dependent on the aggregates (khandha) that are to be abandoned by seeing and on the primary elements (mahābhūta).
