[590] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) neither to be abandoned by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabba), a phenomenon neither to be abandoned by seeing nor by development arises, by kamma-result condition (vipāka-paccaya): Dependent on one aggregate (khandha) that is kamma-result (vipāka), [there arise] three aggregates and mind-originated matter (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa); at the moment of rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi-kkhaṇa), dependent on the aggregates, [there arises] the base (vatthu); dependent on the base, the aggregates [arise]; one primary element (mahābhūta) … dependent on the primary elements, [there arise] mind-originated matter and kamma-born matter (kaṭattā-rūpa)—derivative matter (upādā-rūpa).
