[669] A phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena pahātabbo dhammo) is a condition, by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon to be abandoned by seeing.
One relishes and delights in lust (rāga) that is to be abandoned by seeing; taking that as object, lust to be abandoned by seeing arises, view (diṭṭhi) arises, doubt (vicikicchā) arises, grief (domanassa) to be abandoned by seeing arises.
