[883] A phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba-hetuka) is a condition, by way of object condition (ārammaṇa-paccaya), for a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing.
One relishes and delights in lust (rāga) with roots to be abandoned by seeing; with that as object, lust with roots to be abandoned by seeing arises, wrong view (diṭṭhi) arises, doubt (vicikicchā) arises, grief (domanassa) with roots to be abandoned by seeing arises.
One relishes and delights in wrong view; with that as object, lust with roots to be abandoned by seeing arises, wrong view arises, doubt arises, grief with roots to be abandoned by seeing arises.
