[699] A phenomenon (dhamma) to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya pahātabba) and a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena na bhāvanāya pahātabba) are a condition for a phenomenon to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development, by connascence condition (sahajāta-paccaya): The aggregates (khandhā) that are to be abandoned by development, together with the great primary elements (mahābhūtā), are a condition for mind-originated forms (cittasamuṭṭhāna-rūpa).
