[792] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned by mental development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by mental development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) arises, not by object condition (na-ārammaṇa-paccaya):
Dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) whose root is to be abandoned by mental development, mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa) [arises]; that which is accompanied by doubt (vicikicchā) … .
