[846] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned by development (bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) and on a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (nevadassanena-nabhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development — not by object condition (na ārammaṇa-paccaya).
Dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) whose roots are to be abandoned by development and on the great elements (mahābhūta), mind-originated form (cittasamuṭṭhāna rūpa) [arises]; dependent on the aggregates accompanied by restlessness (uddhacca) and on delusion (moha), mind-originated form [arises].
