[847] Conditioned by a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuko dhammo), there arises a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing: not by predominance condition (na adhipati-paccayā). This is the same as conascence (sahajāta). Not by immediacy condition (na anantara-paccayā), not by contiguity condition (na samanantara-paccayā), not by mutuality condition (na aññamañña-paccayā), not by decisive-support condition (na upanissaya-paccayā), not by prenascence condition (na purejāta-paccayā): this is the same as the negative method (paccanīya) in the dependence section (paṭiccavāra). The thirteen questions (pañhā) are without difference. Not by postnascence condition (na pacchājāta-paccayā), not by repetition condition (na āsevana-paccayā).
