[801] Dependent on a phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka), there arises a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing, not by postnascence condition (pacchājāta-paccaya), not by repetition condition (āsevana-paccaya), not by kamma condition (kamma-paccaya): dependent on the aggregates (khandhā) with roots to be abandoned by seeing, [there arises] volition (cetanā) with roots to be abandoned by seeing.
