[848] In dependence on a phenomenon (dhamma) with roots to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabba-hetuka), there arises a phenomenon with roots to be abandoned by seeing, not by kamma condition (na-kamma-paccaya): In dependence on aggregates (khandhā) with roots to be abandoned by seeing, [there arises] volition (cetanā) with roots to be abandoned by seeing.
