[853] Conditioned by a phenomenon (dhamma) with a root to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka), a phenomenon with a root to be abandoned by seeing arises, not by kamma-result condition (na-vipāka-paccaya). [To be given] in full. There is no rebirth-linking (paṭisandhi).
… Not by nutriment condition (na-āhāra-paccaya): external … temperature-originated … for the non-percipient beings (asaññasatta) … .
… Not by faculty condition (na-indriya-paccaya): external … nutriment-originated … temperature-originated … for the non-percipient beings, conditioned by the great primary elements (mahābhūta), the material life-faculty (rūpa-jīvitindriya) [arises].
… Not by absorption condition (na-jhāna-paccaya): conditioned by one aggregate (khandha) accompanied by the fivefold sense consciousness (pañcaviññāṇa) … external … nutriment-originated … temperature-originated … for the non-percipient beings … .
… Not by path condition (na-magga-paccaya): conditioned by one rootless (ahetuka) [aggregate] … Not by association condition (na-sampayutta-paccaya); not by dissociation condition (na-vippayutta-paccaya).
This is similar to na-vippayutta in the negative method (paccanīya) of the dependent chapter (paṭiccavāra); there is no difference. Eleven.
