[934] A phenomenon (dhamma) whose root is to be abandoned by seeing (dassanena-pahātabbahetuka) and a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned neither by seeing nor by development (neva-dassanena-na-bhāvanāya-pahātabbahetuka) are a condition, by decisive-support condition (upanissaya-paccaya), for a phenomenon whose root is to be abandoned by seeing — [namely,] proximity decisive support (anantarūpanissaya), natural decisive support (pakatūpanissaya).
Natural decisive support: The aggregates accompanied by doubt, and delusion, are a condition, by decisive-support condition, for lust (rāga) whose root is to be abandoned by seeing, [and] for longing (patthanā).
